theBROADWAY is hosting its first club night CLUB BEATS@theBROADWAY on Saturday 5 September with DJ’s Excalibah, Nonames and live Pas from Kyza and Wretch 32.

At the tender age of 18 DJ Excalibah was catapulted to lofty heights as the first signing to BBC 1Xtra. As a DJ he is well known for promoting new UK talent and has even filled in for the legendary John Peel on Radio 1. He has played to rooms full of sweaty people all across the world and has been resident at London’s biggest clubs, Fabric and Ministry of Sound.

One of the most accomplished and respected lyricists in this country, Kyza has collaborated with the likes of SWAY, FOREIGN BEGGARS, KLASHNEKOFF and JEHST.
Now with his second solo album `Shots of Smirnoff` out, he`s hitting the road with full live band (Focused Few), with a new live show featuring some of his hits. The first two singles, from the album, `Love and Music` and `Sin City` were released in April to critical acclaim and massive radio support from RADIO ONE, CHOICE and KISS. Part of the international super crew Foreign Beggars, DJ Nonames is one of the most prolific and respected crews. He has toured the US and Russia with UNKLE Live and has also toured with Kyza and 8 piece band Focused Few. Since 2002 Nonames has been round the UK, Australia, China, Europe and Canada with Foreign Beggars, laced cuts for a string of artists and played DJ sets all over the world from New York to Delhi, Moscow to Mostar.

Since releasing his debut mixtape ‘Learn From my Mixtape’ in 2006, Wretch 32 has firmly established himself as one of the elite artists in the UK Urban scene. Wretch is also part of a highly popular collective known as The Movement which comprises of himself, Ghetto, Scorcher and Devlin which has helped build his ever growing fan base and perhaps an indication of why he has already sold in excess of 8,000 CD’s in independent outlets alone.
He has collaborated with many well know artists including The Streets, Sway, Scorcher and Davinche. Winning BBC 1XTRA’s first Annual Mixtape award for ‘Most Street Heat’ showed the potential of this immensely talented artist from North London and he is now ready to elevate to the next level with his impending album ‘Wretchrospective’ which is highly anticipated.
