Both DVD and Blu-ray formats have the exciting addition of 6 featurettes and 10 deleted scenes. The Blu-ray disc has something extra special called the ‘Trivia Track’. The trivia track is a special feature that you need to activate whilst watching the film. Once activated, it displays information on whatever track you are listening to during Notorious. Viewers can create their own playlist of their chosen favourite songs and that playlist links to iTunes where you can then actually purchase the music. On top of that, the Blu-ray also has the addition of the ‘Life After Death: Making Notorious’ (45 mins) feature.

Christopher ‘Biggie’ Wallace was a gifted storyteller whose narratives about violent life on the streets were told with a gritty and objective realism that won him enormous respect and credibility. Notorious, produced by those who knew Biggie best including his mother and former managers, follows Biggie’s life from childhood - portrayed by Wallace’s son Christopher Jordan Wallace - through to adulthood - played by Brooklyn rapper Jamal Woolard. Notorious is accompanied by a cutting-edge hip hop soundtrack which includes some of Biggie’s greatest hits along with rare tracks from P. Diddy, Jay-Z, Jadakiss and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Biggie started life as a Catholic school boy who turned to selling drugs on street corners to earn both money and respect. Despite warnings from his mother (Bassett; Boyz n the Hood, Malcolm X) Biggie soon earned himself a prison record, but everything changed when a ‘freestyle’ rap tape that he created ended up in the hands of music producer Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs (Derek Luke; Lions for Lambs, Spartan).
When his career took off into superstar territory, Biggie found himself facing all kinds of new problems. While his managers tried to keep his feet on the ground and his mind in the studio, he juggled the demands
of recording, marriage to fellow artist Faith Evans, and being a young father. Things were further complicated by his affair with Junior M.A.F.I.A. member ‘Lil Kim’ (Naturi Naughton), and the increasingly heated rivalry with the infamous West Coast rapper Tupac Shakur (Anthony Mackie; Eagle Eye, Million Dollar Baby). Just as Biggie started to come into true manhood and solidify his musical legacy as one of hip hop’s greatest icons, fate took an unexpected and tragic turn…
