For the last 25 years CM has been at the forefront of music education, assisting young producers and musicians improve in gaining and improving skills needed to earn a living from the music and creative industries.

This year CM is celebrating the 4th anniversary of its Creative Music Production and Business Foundation Degree.

CM supports people from all backgrounds and has purposely made the application criteria to apply open to people with no previous qualifications, and the course fee is affordable, compared to many other vocation music degrees it is half the price.

The Creative Music Production and Business Foundation Degree is a two-year full-time course that firstly explores the different facets of music production and the music industry, and then goes on to focus on business development and career planning.

It is aimed at students who want to gain in-depth creative music production skills and then go on to focus on how they can channel these skills into their career and business development. Students must have a good prior knowledge in music production or general music.

The success of students on this course is evident,

Producers have gone on to sign deals with major labels and independent labels and work with artists such as
Shakira, Tinchy Stryder, N Dubz, X factor winners, Dannii Minogue, Freestylers, Beardyman, MC Navigator and various X Factor winners.
Others have set up their own record labels, toured around the world and remixed for many big artists.

In the last 4 years, each year a CM student has been accepted onto the Red Bull Academy out of over 20,000 applicants worldwide and others now work for the project.
