SK Vibemakers are a North London based sound consisting of FX & Rainman or The lightskin boy and dark skin boy as many describe them.

Born late 2002 SK Vibemakers have come through the stages, from bedroom sets to pirate radio to commercial radio, playing at dances, putting on dances, hosting events, becoming respected mixtapes DJs, filming a DVD documentary and more.

Never content with just being the DJ playing commercial favourites to get the radio phone line buzzing and carrying record boxes from venue to venue for a couple hundred pound, SK Vibemakers call was a different direction. Look around and count the respected DJs that champion UK underground Urban music with a passion, that are relevant and arent just bandwagoners but have history. SK have relationships and associations with many major players in the UK scene, ask about them!

FX & Rainman explain: "The rave scene was becoming bullshit, so we went hard on the radio shows and the mixtapes because we felt this was more important than forward after forward in the raves..we done that already..Why waste our times playing corny predominantly American club tracks to an average of 600 in a room getting home late and waking up late when our mixtapes and radio shows are getting out to many thousands in a week and creating die hard followers..We dont see many doing what we doing or what they supposed to be doing."
